This place makes less painful for me and my children , visiting my husband grave even if the flowers will keep just for a day as the woodland animal enjoys I am very pleased. Thank you for all support they given me and all hard work.
We are so glad to have had GreenAcres recommended to us, it was absolutely perfect. The arrangements were made through our funeral director, Opals but the venue itself is just so tranquil and peaceful. We're looking forward to returning when we can to take a walk around the trails. The building where the service was held is extremely attractive with beautiful big windows looking out over the woodland. I would not hesitate to recommend it as a venue to others.
I conducted a service at GreenAcres. Staff there were very helpful. Chloe initially showed me round a fortnight beforehand so i was familiar with the layout. She answered all my questions. On the day Tracy went the extra mile to facilitate the unusual slide show and music my clients had requested. Everyone was very happy with the service and I was appreciative of her support.
This is truly a beautiful resting place, staff were helpful and the ceremony hall is so peaceful looking out on to the woods, I would highly recommend GreenAcres for your loved ones.
Perfect in every way. A supportive team, a beautiful setting and a perfect send off for Dad. If you're looking for somewhere special to hold a funeral or wedding! with a beautiful, natural outlook then this is absolutely the place. From the first moment we met Tracy and the team, they were helpful and not pushy, understanding and not patronising. The service itself was seamless, not rushed as you often get with a more traditional crematorium, and the facilities were clean, modern and well maintained. We cannot thank Greenacres enough for such a perfect way to say goodbye and would highly recommend them in every way.
They provided a wonderful service for my former client.. and my best friends partner. I couldn't recommend Holly and the team enough.. Kindnes, Respect, Sympathy and no solid hard sell.. the pricing structure and options are clearly explained. The Gathering Hall and Chapel are beautifully placed amongst the woods, sympathetically designed to keep the environment in mind. Thank you Team Greenacres Chiltern.
The facilities we used at Green Acres, Chiltern were of a very high standard and we chose to just hold the funeral service for our mum there. Using independent services and through our own hard work we were able to create a special and memorable occasion. Our experience of the customer service team was poor. They struggled to answer basic questions about timings, parking and the facility itself. With the exception of the supervisor they were reluctant to take any responsibility and had real fixed mindsets about their roles. They refused to help with simple requests on several occasions when asked. This was undermined further by the few bookings during the week we were there. I felt there was a culture around the working day being their own and a booking or a customer being an inconvenience that got in the way. This was a real shame as it reduced the capability of the site, we had to compensate for it and it could so easily be tacked by positive action from management.
We would like to thank all the staff and Merisa isaacs Park manager for the beautiful funeral we had for David. The setting was lovely and the atmosphere so peacefull .Dad is now at rest and it is lovely to go and walk in the woods when we go and visit him.Thank you for your gentle and professional help.
We went to visit to look at a plot for my boyfriend's father and found the whole thing to be very corporate. We were there less than 24 hours after John had died. We were shown around by a woman called Sarah who spoke with a very loud voice, borderline shouting, which was inappropriate for a room where you could hear a pin drop and for the circumstances. A lot of things seemed very corporate. And then we came across a grave that had fallen in by the road side. I mean this grave was so close to the road that as soon as someone steps out of their car, their in the grave. It didn't look good at all. When we asked Sarah why there was a grave basically on the road, she said that someone had died and their family were out of the country at the time. They didn't think they would be able to sell that plot because it was undesirable so they gave it to this deceased person because the family weren't there to oversea it at the time. This was done knowing that the family would be unhappy with the decision made - she must have known because she said it wouldn't sell. There was no reason either to keep the plot open if she knew it wouldn't sell. If it is so undesirable, they can close the plot but instead preyed on the defenceless which in my eyes is disgusting.
Beautiful place for your loved ones funeral, peaceful, tranquil, serene, we felt at peace, And the Green acre staff were loveley and even sent a lovely card
