Always happy. I usually order biryianis, 1-2 starters, okra and naan. Great taste and delivery service.
Ordered on line or so I thought. Long rigmarole of singing up to yet another delivery site. Put my card details in and placed the order. 2 minutes later got a phone call saying the restaurant was closed for refurbishment and my card would be credited in three or four days. No credible explanation as to why the website still offered delivery and why card credit would take so long. Shame. I used to order from Green Chillies quite often but this is outrageous.
I ordered from this restaurant through just eat where its overall rating is pretty good, only after placing the order I decided to check reviews on google and 90% of them were horrible, I was shocked and expected the worst. The delivery took just over an hour as it was Sunday evening and I live fairly far from Blackheath. The food was piping hot and very very tasty, the curries were not oily as it often happens with Indian takeaways in London, both the lamb and the chicken were tender and the sauces were full of flavour. I've tried quite a few Indian takeaways and this one is definitely one of the best.
Amazing food. Had a chicken jalfrezi and lamb buna. Had a lot of distinctive flavours. Didn't disappoint. Compliments to the chef and very polite driver. Delivered 10 mins before which is always a bonus! Couldn't fault them. Gave me little freebies as I ordered directly from them, meaning I didn't order from other online platforms due to taking a percentage from the restaurant. Panaroma on BBC taught me not to order using online platforms lool. Keep up the good work guys
ordered and paid for everything to collect got email confirmation etc got there and they had no idea about my order. This place is also a sushi takeaway and a thai takeaway and it is chaos. the phone kept ringing with customers complaining of messed up orders. I finally got my hurriedly prepared food. The order was wrong! I then waited for the order to be corrected as the rest went cold. Food was ok, rice tasted weird. Never again.
A very good experience from my last delivery. I ordered an assortment of dishes - saag aloo, prawn jalfrezi, chicken biryani, and a lamb dansak. All very delicious, not greasy, and delivered promptly! Was even given free poppadoms and chutneys. Will order again soon.
If you have any sense you will never order from these people, me and my partners stomach is screwed from there terribly cooked lamb. Ive never complained about a curry in my.life but these people take the piss. Denied me a refund as well because i didnt call them straight away instead i called them the next day while i was sat on the toilet seat at work. Do not order from them.
I totally agree with all the negative comments - the wait for delivery is ridiculous. We waited 2 hours last weekend and when it eventually arrived they got our order wrong. Foolishly ordered again last night and again had an 1.45hour wait. They dont answer calls from numbers that are waiting for a delivery so I had to call off another number to get to speak to anyone to ask where my food was. Don’t waste your money - go to Mogul , they are much better.
Very bad!! Terrible service!! 1hr and 15mins to deliver. Did not have change so we paid more than we should! Did not deliver complete meal!, paid them after they said come back straight away. They didn’t come back! ignored our phone calls! Basically stole our money! Food was cold when it arrived! Avoid at all costs!
Favourite indian in the area. Great set meal for a great price, always hot and made in good time. Our favourite dish is the crispy honey chicken starter :-
