A bit old, but whatever basics you need all are having here. There is a ticket machine available in the station. There is also a ticket office available. Bus and taxi available just outside of this train station. There are 3 platforms… trains are running to Norwich in 1 hr intervals. Toilets are also available here in the station.
Spent a lovely relaxing day at the Waterways.nWent to booth cafés.nVery friendly. Lovely atmosphere and had a good choice of food, drinks and ice creams.nLovely day out if you want some quiet time or a day out with family and friends.nLoved the new sculptures.nJust 2 minutes from the beach.nFree parking further along road on North Denes.
Great memories needs spucing up it looks a bit old. Some money needs to be put into it, to bring it back to life, the way it was looks dirty in places come on Yarmouth council you have a fantastic place make it great again please
great place full of history it gave Wilbert Awdry the idea for Toby The Tram Engine
Great Yarmouth train station is pretty run down and what looked like a pretty drab waiting room was gated shut at 5.30pm meaning there was no access to the toilets or cafe facilities so we had to wait over an hour until we got on our connecting train in Norwich before we could eat.
