Second time we’ve ordered online and collected within minutes of the pick up time. Huge portions of fish cooked fresh. Generous portion of chips. Will go again to this shop
Really good portion of beautifully cooked fish and chips at a very good price.
My first visit for nearly a year and I only had chips. I must say, the chips were very good tonite. They were slightly crispy and the oil seemed to be good quality. A big improvement on my last visit a year ago. I will go again in a couple of weeks to try the fish and hope that it will be as good as the chips were today.
It was very quiet when I arrived and my haddock and chips were cooked to order. The portions are very generous and the fish cooked to perfection - not greasy at all. Top marks all round.
Chips are lush for me they are the best chips In swindon. Normally I'll have cod or plain sausage with my chips,cod is nice in taste crispy batter and sausage cooked to perfection. Lovely friendly service. Highly recommend
Our first fish and chips from GW Fryer today, very good cooked to order batter on fish was still crispy after getting home so will definitely go back
Waited 25 minutes for one fish and two chips. Staff x3 were poor. The boss seemed more interested in taking orders and payments than serving people. Only one hour into a Friday evening's opening and they ran out of chips. The fish was poor, batter was too thick and bread-like. Chips were better after we re-fried them. First and last visit for us!

Always used to be a family favourite due to large portion sizes, good prices and good quality chips. Went in today for the first time in a long time and got greasy, stodgy chips. Lots of them though
Great Service fish was really fresh and plentiful nice crispy chips too many in a single portion. Great value for money
