Very good service from Mark and the team at Grasshopper after my new Hayter lawnmower was faulty. They collected the faulty mower and replaced it with a new one Great to have excellent customer service these days
It shames me to say that these guys were our third stop to find a lawnmower but they should have been our first. Great choice of lawnmowers, great customer service and the two gentlemen I spoke to were very knowledgeable and provided great advice on the choice of lawnmower I bought a Stihl and advice on maintenance and aftercare. Will definitely go back there again. Easy five stars.
I can't say enough good things about Grasshoppers. I had gone to my local tool repair centre and asked for a T27 Torx bit to fit my Stihl Disc Cutter only to be told they didn't keep anything like that even though they are Stihl main agents. So I visited another couple of places and both said "Sorry mate we don't keep that in stock". My partner suggested Grasshopper so off I trundled not expecting much. I talked to the guy behind the counter and told him what I wanted a to my amazement he came back with one. I asked him "How much do I owe you"? But he said "No you can have it as it's just one of loads they send us" So I left very happy. Very pleasant very helpful and what a refreshing change from the norm.
Took my Stihl hla56 back to them under warranty as it stopped working and they tried to blame me for bending the blade even though I've used it 6 times and only ever lay it down on a flat surface or have the blade off the ground when not in use. Seems like they just see it as an opportunity to generate revenue in warranty. Have let Stihl GB know of my dissatisfaction and how quick they are to blame the customer and create an invoice. Been trimming the same hedges for 13 years using different trimmers and the one I've spent the most money on is the most fragile.
Called in to ask if they serviced Bosh Electric lawnmowers there were 3 men sitting at there desks, they said they did not because they could not get parts for Bosh anymore. They advised me to call Bosh who would collect and repair it and deliver it back to me. I took the mower to a firm in Writtle who were able to repair it and gave me back the part they had replaced to get it working again so I am puzzled why Grasshopper could not get the part.
Bought my lawn mower here and have taken it back for a winter service. Always knowledgeable staff and they maintain equipment well. New building at the back of the busy Popar Nurseries.
Always very knowledgeable and helpful - great advice, consequently we bought our chainsaw and pole saw from them and they are always happy to help
Excellent service provided for me and my mower. Friendly staff willing to help. New mowers, large and small, spares and service available.
Thanks guys for the advice whilst purchasing a pole hedge trimmer and saw. You saved me from making an expensive mistake and this cordless tool is excellent. I’ll be back for the lawnmower when I save up
