We are a small family run business offering a wide variety of fresh and smoked fish. We attend all farmers markets in and around Aberdeen.

Story

Visit us at our factory on Poynernook Road, near Union Square in Aberdeen for the fresh fish!

We also do a number of Farmers Markets across Aberdeen and the Shire:

1st Saturday of the month:
Stonehaven: 9am - 1pm
Huntly: 9am - 1pm
Westhill:, 9am - 1pm

2nd Saturday of the month:
Inverurie: 9am - 1pm

3rd Saturday of the month:
Banchory, 9.30am - 1.30pm

Last Saturday of the month:
Aberdeen/Belmont St: 9am - 4pm

4th Saturday of the month:
Ballater: 10am - 2pm
Ellon: 10am - 2pm

and of course every Wednesday at Torphins Platform 22: 10am - 2pm!

The fish is fresh and really good. Prices are affordable and you can get granite fish even at the farmers market every weekend. Nice!

We are grateful for your friendly. reliable and efficient service. Great shellfish including lobsters and also smoked fish. The sushi quality salmon is especially good.

Thank you Anna for delivering fresh smoked haddock directly to my door in time for tea. My asthma was pretty bad on Saturday so would have been beans on toast if it hadn't been for your five star service!!! Awesome fish.

We first discovered Granite City Fish at a Belmont market soon after coming to Aberdeen in 2015 from USA.  We continue to regularly visit them at the market, and often, at the factory.  They always have a vast, fresh selection.  Ed, family, and staff are always friendly and accommodating, frequently good for a laugh, as well as knowledgeable about their products.  My wife, being Scottish, has always loved seafood.  I, as a Midwesterner, am a recent convert, but have grown to love all the cold water seafood options.  We avoid buying seafood from anyone else!  Today, they went above and beyond.  We made a purchase at the Belmont market, but realized once we got home that our trout wasn't in the bag.  After a Facebook message and a phone call, the one that got away was specially delivered to our front door.  I truly cannot say enough about our favorite local fishmonger.

Hands down, the BEST SEAFOOD I have ever eaten and the staff are absolutely lovely to boot. Treat yourself - they are also superb value!

Went to buy prawns today for a Valentine's meal tomorrow-big prawns at a good price, friendly helpful service as always, with a great selection of seafood! Always worth a visit!
