Just had a takeaway. Food was fantastic. Service was brilliant. Will definitely order more often. Was expecting to eat in the restaurant but hadn't realised that it was take away only. Enjoyed very much and was good value for your money.
After being seated we were practically ignored most of the time we were there, the atmosphere was poor and as for the food, well! We had three different meals and to our amazement they all tasted the same.. Even the pathia which was supposed to be medium to hot was like soup.. The naan bread and chapattis were cold.. They were more interested on the take away side of the business than they were the visiting customers.. Poor experience..
Love this place. The BEST Indian Restaurant in Leicester!!! Does both eat-in and take-away. Great Indian food at a great price. You can also phone ahead and pick up. I recommend the Chicken Rogan Josh although I have it Vindaloo hot. Lots of flavour but with the heat too.
I don't usually post reviews. If I dislike a takeaway I make a note and move on but this takeaway was exceptionally poor. It was watery and tasteless, the chicken was of poor quality. Highly recommend you look elsewhere.
Very bad food ...Gave one extra stars as service was good. Same curry used for both mushroom and Kadhai Paneer Please ask chef to refer to authentic Indian recipes online before putting them on menu..
Food is amazing as always, but found the portion sizes for the curries allot smaller then what they usually have. Not sure whether this was because I used a groupon voucher, but still great food.
Food and service... Always of the highest order! And the Dansak.... Never disappoints!
Ordered Tandoori Chicken and they sent me some bland chicken with onions. If you don't have a dish available, have the courtesy to let your customer know or offer a refund, instead of sending something else which was not ordered and probably a cheaper option on the menu.
Excellent food and really went out of their way to ensure my little boy would have something suitable to eat, as well as adjusting the menu for vegetarian needs. Really lovely place to eat.
The food was OK, tasty but not really outstanding. I guess you could consider it good value for money. However, I had such an upset stomach the day after. that I'm reluctant to go there again.
