Great Parking the best in CambridgenThis is the most central car park you can find. It was really convenient to walk around central Cambridge. A bit challenging to reach but overall well worth the efforts.nHighly recommended!
Great place to park, especially if you are seeing a show at the corn exchange in the evening when parking is at a reduced rate. If you want to park during a weekday daytime, it always has plenty of spaces, though since the price increase across Cambridge centre, it is incredibly expensive. I went to a works christmas meal that had very slow service, where I had to be parked for just over 5 hours, which cost me £26.40!
The Grand Arcade car park in Cambridge is super convenient if you're heading into the city for some shopping. Its central location means you're right by all the main stores, which is a real bonus, especially when you're loaded down with purchases. The parking spaces are generally a good size, and the whole place feels secure, which is always reassuring.nnHowever, convenience comes at a price, and the standard parking fees can really add up, particularly if you're there for a while. But what's truly unacceptable is their policy for a lost ticket. Charging a flat £36 if you misplace your ticket is absolutely disgusting. With the amount of cameras they have and modern ANPR technology, it seems ridiculous that they can't simply check your registration, verify your entry time, and issue a new ticket. To hit customers with such an exorbitant charge when they could easily confirm details is nothing short of a rip-off and frankly, a scam. This kind of policy reflects poorly on the management, and frankly, it feels like the council, who ultimately oversees these services, is failing its residents and visitors by allowing such punitive and easily avoidable charges to stand. It leaves a really sour taste and makes you question their customer service ethics.
Utterly expensive! I can’t believe they are getting away with charging so much.nnThe car park is small and there’s evidence of people scrapping their cars all over the place. Spaces are tight.nnHomeless people in the stairways, completely unsafe.nnIf you are going to charge extortionate prices then get the rest of it sorted!
Very unprofessional customer service!! I've faced some difficulties today with the payment after calling the customers service and explaining the situation that we having issue with payment as machine doesn't let us pay .We have been advised to go back to car park and get some cash out and pay that way I have explained that we are at in front of the barrier and few cars behind us and this is not the best idea also I have my 6 year old - surely that's not customers problem If there is issue with payment machine.... He's name is Dobby I suggest to have a word with this guy how to deal with customers....After few attempts/declines /trying again ..We finally managed to pay ...But experience was unbelievible shocking...
