The excellent sourdough breads are the specialty of the baker here, but the pastries are always tasty too. From the amazing baking bread smell that drifts up the high street first thing in the morning it is hard to resist. Every one working there is always friendly and helpful. The only downsides are that they often sell out by lunchtime and haven't found a way to duplicate their hard-working baker so they can bake on Mondays... Too many times have I walked down for my morning pastry and been disappointed to remember what day it is!

Absolutely the best bakery I have been to in ages, from the bread to the gorgeous pastries. The staff are friendly and always have a smile on there face making you feel welcome in the store from when you set foot in the shop to when you leave. Excellent quality and excellent prices.

Delicious bread (I tried their malted sourdough) and good customer service, I hope that this local gem will start to sell organic bread / sourdough soon, I spoke to the owner and she reliably informs me that they are looking at this. At such time that they do I will be forced to give a full 5 star review..
