Ordered 9.5m of floor screed split over 2 days, needed 5.5m the first day.
The concrete plant broke down and only delivered 4m the first day which in fact only turned out to be 3.5m approx, leaving us to try and mix more by hand.
The second day the driver told us the plant was still broke down and they had collected the remaining 5.5m from another nearby plant.
When I contacted the office I spoke to Claire her attitude was shocking.
I questioned about the plant failure to which she denied and she asked why I was bothered where the screed came from, her exact words were " what's that got to do with you ?"
There were 2 plants local to me (Whitehaven) who charged £22 less per m3 and would have been free delivery ( Greame Howe charged £240 ).
The only reason I used this place was it was recommended by the floor finisher.
I have never left a review until now and the only reason I am is lack of people skills Claire displayed on the phone.
Next time it will be my usual local supplier as they are cheaper, more reliable and much more reasonable and friendly to deal with on the phone.
