Story

Gown2Glam encapsulates femininity and sexiness, sculpting and flattering the body to ensure you look amazing throughout your special day. This collection is for those ladies who appreciates exceptionally well-made clothes, with beautiful fabrics, combined with the perfect elements of detailing and timeless elegance.

The concept for Gown2Glam's "Dress within-a-Dress" collection was inspired by Helen's own wedding day and years aboard cruise ships: “As much as I adored designing and then wearing my wedding dress on the big day, when it came to the evening celebrations, I found it was heavy, a little uncomfortable and very restrictive for dancing, not to mention trodden on by many of the guests. As the night went on, I noticed that my husband was able to make himself comfortable by taking his cravat off, undoing his top button and removing his jacket. That's when I had my "lightbulb moment". Why can’t it be that easy for the bride too?"

Some brides buy two dresses for their big day, but this is not always practical and can be costly. So, Helen decided to design a wedding dress collection that she believes ticks all-of-the-boxes ensuring brides look and feel as enchanting at the celebrations in the evening as they do during the the daytime formalities, without the need to have two dresses. Each "Dress within-a-Dress" is personally designed, illustrated and supervised by Helen.
