Gourock is a nice place. Lots of food places.. got a trian station. Bus terminal and a ferry port to cross to the other islands and so forth, other lands that save a lot of driving. But the drives are good also.
Great place to stay and visit, lovely walks along the promenade.
Standard Scotrail station. Manned ticket office, toilets available.
Lovely railway station that was recently done up. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Manned ticket desk and also ticket machines. Boards to display departure times and a covered walkway to the ferry terminal. There is also a pay and display car park but you get the parking price off your train ticket price if you show the receipt when purchasing you train tickets.
Only stopped here for a quick travel break after getting off the CalMac ferry. It looks lovely and the people are friendly.
