Had an enjoyable time with my children at the Games! The pipe bands fab!!! The dancers were so disciplined and great to watch!!! It was great to see lots of bins for rubbish although there are still folks who dont know what they're for!!! The food that was on offer was vastly over-priced. £7 for 2 ice creams! £6 for a VERY thin pizza so thin it was burnt and inedible with very little on it!! However --- the SUN was shining-- it was dry!!! That's not always the case unfortunately at the games!!! But still love it and fingers crossed for a sunny day next year!!!
Its fun and lively. The location is wonderful. With Scottish many pipe bands performing together and various dance competitions going around, the atmosphere is vibrant. Food stalls are amazing and there are rides for children and adults. Everything is at reasonable price.
Great event in a stunning location! Worth a visit to kick off the season
I have been to 4 Highland Games. This was my favourite. Fantastic view. Great piper bands. What was lacking majorly was the amount of stalls. So much potential for business as it was packed but the lack of stalls was so disappointing.
Busy day, only one negative the Highland dancing marquee is surrounded by competition tents and anyone wishing to watch competition can't there should be an area for said tents and an area where people visiting, ie friends and family and other visitors with young children that may be interested in starting highland dancing can watch from.
Loved visiting the games. I especially enjoyed listening to the pipes while watching strong people throw things. I wish there were more food options.
Seems OK this is first one I've been to but no programme to say what is happening and where not very well organised that way. Going to have to go to another to see how it is
