Decent stock of books for a local library (with others available on request to pick up) and great selection of DVDs. Photocopying on the expensive side, though major issue is the reduction in opening hours due to Council budget cuts. Staff friendly and willing to help if not always proactive as one would like.

I came here looking for a quiet place to study. Totally useless. They have a play area for children out front with lots of kids running around, screaming, crying etc. I love kids, but not during my study time! Most of the tables were occupied with people reading newspapers. Fair enough, but when people talk, they don't keep their voices down. Not much point with the screaming children in the background! For a small library, they have a fair selection of books and the self-checkout is very much appreciated.

Can confirm: screaming children. Not many power-sockets either. Decent wifi, however, which is great.
