Visited for the 1st time yesterday with 2 of my Grandchildren as my 2 local libraries are closed on Mondays.nWe came for the Kpop craft session.nWhat a lovely library friendly and welcoming.nThe Lady who did the craft session was so nice even when the families kept coming.nShe was so organised and welcoming.nA lovely experience thank you.nLynda.
A very lovely library with a pleasant atmosphere and a good selection of books. Plenty of tables and comfortable chairs to sit and read. When I went on a Monday morning they had some board games including a chess board, not sure if this is all day or specific times/days. The staff were very friendly and helpful with enquiries.
This is the best Library in Newcastle, the staff are very friendly as well as helpful, theres always a warm welcome as soon as you enter the building, keep up the good work you awesome people you:.
Went to renew my card and get my 4 yr old niece her very first library card. The staff were absolutely lovely and so kind to my niece, getting her to smile and all excited for her card. They showed her how to use to check out machine and were more than happy to show her the children section. Can't wait to bring her back. I even managed to snag myself some newly released books!
I've been coming to this library for over 50 years ,it still has the same wonderful smell it had when I went there as a 10 yearold,I think it's the wood panelling! it's changed a lot over the years and I would say it's a lot smaller now but there's still a lovely atmosphere and original features,the library staff are so friendly,plenty of book choices and information for parents and children activities.A lovely place ,Fenham couldn't do without it .
