Gorleston Pavilion Theatre

About

Opened in the Summer of 1901, the Pavilion Theatre is an original Edwardian building with a seating capacity of 300, situated on the Norfolk coast.

Story

We are proud to be open all year round staging Plays, Pantomimes, Musicals, Concerts as well as our popular 26 week Summer Season.

The building celebrated its centenary in 2001 (a miracle considering that it almost didn't get built in the first place!) and we hope that you will come and visit us to ensure the Theatre's survival for at least another 110 years.

Enjoying a holiday from the Midlands with the kids. We decided on the off chance to pop in and see the theatre as we walked by. Little red riding hood/Entertainment was being performed in the evening and thought the kids would enjoy seeing the show. They did !! we all did!! My youngest who is 5 had the best time and so did my other children. It's a old theatre but lots of character and you can sense the joy it brings to the people involved in the performances. Snacks and drinks are very reasonably priced with a bar area to. We all came away happy and well entertained. Thank you.

Attended a local theatre performance of Alice through the looking glass and had a great time. Theatre a bit dated and could do with some upgraded seating, but staff were super and got a decent bar.

Lovely old building run by friendly people. Good entertainment and you can have a drink at your table. Worth a visit.

I love this theatre. I have been going here my whole life and I'm now 16. I have worked here since 13 years old and will keep working here. I meet so many nice and caring people and make friends very fast. all the staff are caring and they would help in any way they can. we have first aiders at the ready. would recommend to all. I was asked to do the spotlight for the 2016 pantomime and they trained me on that in hours and it was great fun.
