This place is a joke, I waited 6 hours with my 1-year-old boy and there was no one left and they were sitting and eating. My child cried for 4 hours and then fell asleep and they told me that it is my choice if I want to wait or can to leave. I can't believe how much disrespect there is. I'm never going again. mothers who, after hours of waiting, went home with their sick little ones
To be honest, I probably won't visit this hospital again. I like the fact that they have nurses in the a&e waiting area checking bp and temperature. But the cleanliness of the hospital was questionable. They have a cleaner walking around just spraying whatever into the air literally standing feet from me and my mom. He was spraying something onto the floor as he was buffing it, but was standing right next to us. No regard for us sitting right there, just spraying away. He was also coughing into the air. He had a chesty cough. Walking around coughing all sorts into the air. Then, when me and my mom were called into the room to find out what was wrong with her, they called us into two disgustingly dirty rooms. First one we refused to go into as it was dirty with tissue all over the floor and the tissue on the bed was used, second one they took us into wasn't even a propa room it was some type of storage room with a bed in it. It was even worse but by this time we had been there for over 7 hours so just wanted to go home. There was a dirty sick pan on the side with soiled tissues in it, and used packaging that hadn't been disposed of. Not really impressed to be honest. This really let them down. Grateful for their efforts but doubt I'll be back here honestly.
Best hospital ive been to in ages, staff are fantastic all round. Big thank you to P.P Leigh watts who was amazing from the get go, really helped and went out of his way to make sure my experience was a good one, much appreciated for that. Generally a great experience in the A & E department so thank you all for your support and hard work you all do it really shows big shout out to all the team in majors B for your support and hard work, great team made me and the others feel so welcome and looked after thank you all
Another positive experience for me from A&E. Once again I was impressed with the efficiency at which they triage cases, and direct you to the right onward care. Yes it took a few hours, but if you genuinely need to be there, that shouldn’t be an issue. Thank you to the great staff, doing a hard job.
Comming back to this review 2025 JannnI have the pleasure of redoing the reviewnnAfter multiple trips, they have improved over the years. Whatever you are doing, please keep it up.nnThis place is a joke, nobody goes to hospital for the sake of it, however this place in rudeness is a whole new level, receptionist and floating nurse person with a computer... god knows what they do, but from my 9hours here j can see me taxes been wasted. Sorry but its a joke in here ultimately BAD management, I'm sorry for all the ppl who do work the backs off, only commenting on what was dealt to me 28th Dec 2022
