Great place for breakfast or lunch. Vegan options! They have a vegan sandwich on the menu, but they'll gladly put the Impossible brand items in anything. I had an Impossible breakfast burrito that was great!Food: 5/5
So GOOD!!! I had the GOAT breakfast Flatbread special, literally the best thing I've ever eaten. Great atmosphere and workers are upbeat and friendly.

Let's face it there is zero that's up and coming in Bangor. However little something happening at Grind House. I try not to go downtown I'm from kc and Bangor is just littered with meth. However me and my wife make an exception on Saturday to go to this little spot. Coffee snobs we are and she's very sensitive to food and coffee. This coffee was so good did not mess with either of us. Vibe super good, great music unlike almost all of Maine. Staff was super nice and actually understood that dark roast meant less caffeine, amazing an educated crew, yes! Just trust me this is THE spot for quality and good service all around.
I don't know if it was the DayQuil or the atmosphere, but I fell in love -just a little- with The Grind House today. The staff gracefully navigated my entire family like pros we are a lot even on our best day. Everyone loved the food. Especially The Balboa. Overall 5/5. Will return on our next visit to Bangor. Hopefully we will be more coherent.
It is hard to resist the House of Grind and once I heard I had to come quickly. In the morning they offer coffee, eggs and pastries. It has a quasi diner feel. The grind pastries had their own profiles and the maple glazed bun connected with me. It was oh oh oh so good and I swallowed the whole pastry without even remembering whether it was the maple or the pumpkin. You might feel guilty afterward, but it sure went down well with Grind coffee. I am sure I will be back to Grind looking for a new type of pastry soon.
Always a great experience. We were able to sit outside which was nice! Great staff, greater food. My personal favorite is the Santa Fe Salad. If you're a steak and cheese lover, that was also exceptional. They have specialty drinks as well, I had one that was peanutbutter and chocolate flavored which was to die for!
Green eggs and Ham sammish is phenomenal. The pesto really comes through for some excellent flavor. The croissant roll is light and fluffy. Plentyfull eggs, ham and cheese. They may look small at first but they really do fill you up. Coffee is good. Light and airy seating area, good vibes I like that they ask if you want a bag without assuming you do and that their to go containers are eco friendly
Would not recommend. Stopped service breakfast sandwiches by 11am on a Sunday. Ita a breakfast sandwich...would not go back. Look forward to them closing their doors since they don't want to make food.
I love this place! The food is awesome, the drinks are awesome and the atmosphere is great! It's always a little chilly so keep that in mind. The prices are a bit higher but for the quality it is worth it. Would definitely recommend for any meal, any time of the day!
