My dad is a very keen golfer and I wanted to surprise I’m with something for his birthday and not knowing the first thing about golf I was worried I would drop a clanger and buy a gift that was not suitable for him. The staff were really helpful and explained what would be a great gift for him at different prices. There was no pressure to buy and I felt that they were genuinely there to help me. Would strongly recommend them and will defiantly return for his next gift. I may even take up golfing myself!

Really cant rate Anita and Gene enough.
Was fitted by a well known outlet a few months ago and have had a few decent rounds but nothing outstanding, I had the feeling I was still missing out on something
After a brief chat with a very polite young lad in store I decided who better to put my mind at rest than Gene, my plan was for him to look at my clubs and assure me that they were perfect and any faults were due to my swing.
Now this is where it became apparent just how good Gene is at what he does, within 5 minutes it was explained that my clubs had been poorly fitted.......the shaft flex was too stiff, the lie angle was out, the grips were too thick, the length was too short. Now bear in mind I had been fitted for these clubs at a well known outlet.
Gene had me hitting several different set ups of clubs from various brands until he determined what was suitable for me, some of the clubs I tried I couldn't hit square, some felt ok, then he handed me the holy grail and I was blown away at the difference, I didn't feel like I was trying to hit ball, everything felt so smooth and effortless and ball flight was brilliant.
So new clubs it is then, these were ordered by Gene and I couldn't wait to try them out, due to the bank holiday, delivery took slightly longer than I had hoped and several calls were made to both Anita and Gene who couldn't have been more helpful if they wanted to. Emails and phone calls were made and I was kept informed every step of the way.
Back to the clubs........received and played a couple of rounds.
First round was a little disappointing as I thought I would go out and break the course record, another phone call to Gene who assured me everything is perfect and I need to get used to swinging a perfectly fitted iron......Round 2......these irons are amazing, no more back pain after playing, increase in distance and much straighter ball flight.
What I am trying to say is, I personally think a club fit by Gene is the best thing I could have done to help me improve my game, absolutely nothing was too much trouble and Anita even delivered my clubs on her way home so I could play at the weekend.
I loved the way that both Anita and Gene were as excited as I was about these new clubs, really cant thank you guys enough for everything, I will be sure to sing your praises to fellow golfers .
I will probably become a permanent fixture in your shop so can I please have my own mug....coffee no sugar

Nice shop, some nice bits of kit available.   But what an attitude.  I wouldn't buy anything from this place. EVER. Sorry but being brutally honest, I have never been so offended in any golf shop, range or club as I was in there.

Superb from start to finish

Called and nothing was too much trouble. Pure honest professional advice that you simply do not get ANYWHERE else. I wish all Golf shops gave this level of attention to detail and good old fashioned customer service. Products ordered and arrived within 24 hours via courier. Thank you Gene superb 👍
