Family favourite Chinese Restaurant. The food is excellent and has large servings. Tasty, fresh and promptly served. We have been going for years! Although the shop is dated and not very attractive the food is all you want. It has a wide range on the menu and worth trying. We recommend it to all our friends.
Ordered at 5pm told would be ready for 6.30pm but had to stay out socially distanced in the rain till 7.20pm before finally getting my order. Avoid unless willing to wait outside for at least 40mins for your food.

Our first visit to the golden wheel last night! Weve tried a few of the local chinese takeaways and were disappointed! The golden wheel was delicious! Everything was perfect! Will definately return and recommend to all!
The only Chinese I'd recommend in Louth, and I live here! 'nuff said? Try the dinner for one. £8.50 at time of writing, Sept 2019. Enough for two easily, or put half in the fridge for tomorrow if you're single, I do all the time. Very pleasant people too.
Never had a problem in the past,but for 2 weeks on the run Friday 8.30 two different meals the chips have been warmish with that old taste.l would have thought at that time of evening they would be freshly cooked. Will give it one more go. Staff good and friendly.
Chose the set meal for 4 plus a few extras, easily the best Chinese takeaway we've had for many years. Reminded us of takeaways from 20+ years ago, tasty, fresh ingredients, well cooked and chips to die for mmm. Reasonably priced, efficient service, we're still talking about how much we enjoyed it. 5 stars.
