Good food best Chinese takeaway in Driffield

Stopped off on the way home from Hull last night. Delicious food and piping hot too. Lovely staff. Will definitely return for more takeaways.

Worst Chinese I've ever had! Food was bland, including the pineapple in my chicken pineapple! The wontons had nothing inside of them. The spring roll my partner ordered was battered and soggy! Chips were hard like they hadn't been cooked properly and looked grey in colour. To top it off, health and safety/environmental health came in just after I had paid to tell him all the things he needed to improve on. Please don't waste your money

Imagine just how bad the food here must have been, that not only would I write a review on Google for it, but that I'd go to the extra trouble to actually create the listing for the business in the first place before I could leave my review! Well you're wrong, because it was considerably worse than that. My chow mein appeared to have been made with vermicelli, and was 'special' by virtue of having what they called king prawns in it. I'll happily admit they LOOKED like king prawns, but they had the consistency, and the flavour, of pieces of white rubber. The chicken curry had unidentified lumps of meat in it that DEFINITELY wasn''t chicken, and I was grateful for them because the rest of it was just handfuls of water chestnuts. A long way from a cheap meal, a long way from a good meal, and a long way from a hot meal. Honestly, go somewhere (anywhere) else
