We’re passionate about this pub and what it offers you the customer. There’s a great atmosphere, a superb food choice, including freshly made pizzas and Sunday roasts plus full table service in a clean family-friendly setting. Ample parking and very close to the main road making it extremely accessible. The seating staff member was lovely to speak to and the waitress was just as nice. The food is cheap and good quality. The mix grill being my choice of meal. It was nice but I would say that the chicken breast is pointless as it's flavourless and dry as a bone. Not enough sauce for the meal but overall it was nice. The side dishes in my opinion being better than the mains. Overall decent food at a low price with good service.
2 for 1 makes it a great deal! Good range on the menu, great drinks, service was quick and couldn't fault the food. Bright inside felt comfortable, really enjoyed!
Absolutely beautiful place to have a nice quiet meal with loved ones, friends or family... have a little play area for children which my daughter enjoyed also the food was amazing & me, my partner & daughter enjoyed every last piece... will definitely be visiting again very shortly x
Came for lunch and was so welcome came back for the Greek evening menus and wasn't disappointed!!!!... Very reasonable prices and impeccable friendly service. Can't wait to go back. Very popular so make sure to book
Very impressed with the food here, would recommend anyone in the area after some good food, originally thought it was going to be a pricey pub meal but was pleasantly surprised with the food once it came :
We had a family meal out on a Saturday evening, and had a great time. The food was fantastic with good size portions and the steaks nicely cooked as requested. The place was busy, but we felt the place had a nice atmosphere and the table we had meant we had an area that felt private to us. What made the evening stand out in particular was the amazing service from Vicky F, who was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. We will definitely be back soon, and thoroughly recommend the place.
Clean and spacious dining and drinking areas with a nice atmosphere, the staff are friendly and keep the tables clean, prices are very reasonable. My son had a steak pie with mash, veg and gravy, he said it was very nice, he clearly enjoyed it from my view, and I had a lovely medium rare rump steak which was cooked to perfection with chips and peas, we both ate everything and I sent a thank you to the chef for the perfect steak. I'd say the Golden Eagle is definitely worth a visit.
Booked a table on Friday night glad we did as it got very busy. Nice fast and friendly service. Table service not just app codes which was great and the lady who was running our section was amazing. Pizzas were amazing and I would recommend chocolate orange sponge.
Excellent Food & Amazing Service. Was brilliant to have table service and Amber was incredible - she was friendly, fun & extremely efficient, nothing was too much trouble. I mentioned to her at the beginning that we would all be paying separately and she set up 'named' tabs for us all so at the end we all got our own individual bills - Amazing. All the staff were great, but Amber really was a credit to you!!
The food was amazing and the staff even more! Great service which you don’t really get anymore. Went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and enjoy our time. Cant wait to visit again. Thanks
