There is no better way to do a review than having years and years of experiences. Golden dish has been consistently good over the past years that I’ve bought Chinese food from this place, I only ever eat seafood or poultry such as roast duck with pancakes. The service is quick and the staff are deceivingly nice.  Put it this way you have to make them smile. Today ordered the sweet and sour chicken and SB8 with no red meat. It was as always perfect and consistent. They deliver so you don’t have to drive,  The nearest tube station I think is Willesden Green. But the most important thing is wether it’s delivered or collected the food is great.

Average. The special fried rice was okay. Asked for a bit of chilli oil on the side. Wish I didn't bother as it had no flavour or heat. Bbq ribs, hard as nails. Had to pop it in the pressure cooker in order to eat them. Sauce they threw on top was just fat!...

A great Chinese restaurant. I saw another review about rude staff but they were very pleasant to me! It was so cheap, £6.80, for their special house meal - a typical british-chinese takeaway dish with rice. Took almost no time to cook and tasted great too.

The SP8 - special fried rice with a variety of meat chunks, is one of the best Chinese dishes I've ever tasted. Huge portions, cooked fresh in front of you and bursting with flavour! We always order the mild with a side of their Chinese chicken balls which is equally delicious!

Best food in NW hand down!! However there is one lady taking orders who is extremely rude! When she does not understand what you say she swears and starts talking in Chinese and gives attitude! Honestly never had someone speak so rude to me from a restaurant and it happened many times not just once or twice I love this place however she can be very rude and puts you off from ordering ! They need to pick nicer staff like many years ago they had.

Edit 26th Nov 2021 They’re OPEN again! I went in there today, they said they opened again about 2wks ago. I got my favourite SP8  10 months ago… I like this place been coming here for years...but this is not a review. This is just an update: I went there today at 1.15pm when they should be open, but they’re temporarily closed because of the current London lockdown - they have a sign in the window indicating this. Not sure why they’re closed as they are a takeaway food service and all other takeaways in the area are open and as far as I’m aware, as they sell food are an “essential business”. Oh well!

I am so disappointed with the SP8 I have just eaten, after waiting for over an hour for my food to be delivered I can honestly say it was a total let down. The rice was not cooked properly and it's lost that authentic SP8 taste people love I've been buying it for over 20 years and can definitely say the recipe has changed. The sesame prawn toast was burnt and had no taste. I think it's time I find a new take away! I didn't bother to call because from past experience I know don't really care!

SP8 has been consistently good - great food

First time i have ordered with them and can say its been the best takeaway i have had in a long time taste was good how it should be. Only complaint the ribs was not the best I've had but was stilp good i think its because i prefre babyback ribs.

Absolutely brilliant food. Cooked well, quick service.
