Excellent service from my driver Daniel. Used Gold Star for going from Stevenage to Luton airport and back recently, and couldn't recommend them enough. The price was reasonable, car was very clean and tidy, and my driver was polite, friendly, and really helpful. All in all it was just very convenient for my needs.

I have been using Goldstar Taxis for about two years now to take me to Gatwick Airport. About 10 return trips. They are always on time. One driver left his meter running and it was £200 when we got to the M23 so £105-115 is very reasonable. I have had 4-5 drivers and this year it has been mostly Daniel or Joe. We communicate by text but they are always there. They always find a trolley for me when we arrive and take mine from me when I come out at Arrivals. Daniel has a bottle of water in the car for me. I put the fare into two envelopes in case the same driver cannot bring me back and I write the details on each envelope (return flight, phone numbers).
Update: Since writing this review I have enjoyed 3 more return trips to Gatwick.

Terrible service!! Booked a taxi at 7:40 for 8:15 from the Novotel. It's now 8:40 and still no taxi. Called the office at 8:32 to be told the driver is in traffic with his previous passenger... They've had at least 20 mins to get another car out or let me know but failed to do either!!

I've given them so many chances. From absolutely rude drivers, over charging, one guy took the long route and I asked why he was going to the industrial area when I live in Broadwater, biggest mistake. He was like I'm not in mood tried to throw me out in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night, after yelling racist comments. Rather walk home in the rain. Never Again.
