Ordered a cheese burger and chips from here. I asked for hot sauce and mint sauce on the chips, with ketchup and salad on the burger. However, just before lifting the burger my fingers were covered in hot sauce, the bottom muffin is drenched in liquid hot sauce which seems like it is mixed with water. Upon calling gold star they said it was normal, if you got hot sauce on the chips it will run on to the bun. Did not even receive a apology just an excuse, when responding to this excuse the line went quite like I was placed on mute. Very rude staff. Funny I have never seen a burger drenched this way before. Not the first time ordering from here but this surely will be the last.
Amazing food, hot fresh great portion sizes, and arrived fast, used for years and just seems getting better with age, and. Staff so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond with are food. recommend, top takeaway, food and top staff.
Ordered 2 Asian style curries for near enough £20. What can I say! Absolutely terrible the gosht isn’t fresh the keema isn’t fresh. Idk if the chef has changed or what’s going on with these guys but to be a Asian takeaway in Oldham ran by Asian people standards are unacceptable for Salun. And now I’m calling no one is picking the call up…
Got donner and chips was nice but got a chicken donner and was hot think they put hot sauce on it he asked if i wanted sauce i just said yeah maybe i shud of said not hot lol....will try again and say no hot sauce WOW WAS HOTFood: 3/5
Wouldn't order from here again just for the simple fact the we ordered two chicken wrap meals one with cheese one without , NO DESCRIPTION of wich one had no cheese one meal wasted as it won't be eaten now having being handled to much by someone looking for the wrap with cheese. Also a desert wasted because you can't eat desert first so if the first meal wont be eaten neither will desert with warm soggy melted ice cream.
I ordered two piece chicken and chips and chicken tikka and chips with salad and sauce. This is third time that on telling them to make sure the chips are fresh and not double cooked, but after even asking them to make them fresh, they didn’t make chips fresh but said they were. It was a takeout order so as the chips were hard I called up to complain but got greated by blame that that’s the way I asked for them. I really don’t understand why they have to double cook when even from fresh it does not take that long to cook and serve. Goldstar has really lost its quality of food as well as the way to deal with customers in a polite manner. A very disappointed customer who will be taking customs else where.
Ridiculous sized kebab. My cousin ordered the Jumbo feast, 5 of us + 2 kids couldn't finish it. Have a look at the size of it compared to the sauce tubs to see the size of it. Insane.
The food from here is not like it used to be dissapointed dry and bland even with sauces
Only go to this place for their salad n sauce. Ordered large Donna on naan come home with it looks like a flippin small portion. Called them and they stated it's the amount they put on large. Wonder what der small portion is. I'm a regular so know the difference!
Foods rubbish, can’t get a simple order right and delivery way longer than it should have been
