Lovely cosy pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Well laid out to give people space but fit plenty of seating
I love this bar, and it's great to see it bar back to its former glory. They keep it simple with lots of comfortable alcoves and corners for a quiet drink, combined with open areas to watch the big events. The Purty has lost touch with the local drinkers and thabkfully Goggins didn't follow suit. The staff are outstanding and the gents always spotless. The pride of Monkstown.

Excellent food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere and 4 min walk to the sea :
Cosy, not too noisy, but then again it was early on a Thursday evening. Staff very pleasant.
Arrived there about 10pm not very busy, staff were not at all friendly almost to the point of being rude. Quality of the pint was good. The gent's bathroom was a disaster urinals overflowing cubicle floor flooded and the tap in the gents was out of order.
First time to have a drink in goggins very enjoyable,
