Local people restaurant. It served steak in the town for a long time. You can order the special “Sunday Meal”on Sunday only, their steak with vegetables and fried egg, only around 30 euros, a cheaper price compared to weekdays. It is a very large plate! Me and my friend can only ate one plate together in total Nice food with fresh ingredients: meat and vegetables. Soup is also nice choice. Good environment, very helpful and friendly stuff. Their decorations are great. I guess it is American old countryside style? I also ordered Beef burgers, which is also big size and normal girls can not finish it. it is worth of the money for sure, fresh and juicy. It is a nice weekend eating food places for families.
Visited with a group of friends on a Saturday and managed to get a last minute booking for early Saturday evening. Everything we had was great, the scallops/parfait for starter, the Chateaubriand was perfectly cooked and the sticky toffee pudding was light but delicious. One of the best parts of our experience were the staff. Our waitress was extremely helpful in helping us with a wine selection, ensured we didn't run out of other drinks and was patient with us when selecting our food. All of the food was timed well and we enjoyed everything without feeling rushed. Make sure you book ahead to avoid disappointment!
Went there as a last minute booking. We were looking for a place to eat during Friday night and after coming here I realized there is no better choise than here. The quality of food, amazingness of dessert, beautiful wines and cocktails and smiling professional waiters. This place deserves the best of best reviews. Best meat I ever ate in Ireland!
Stake was gorgeous, I recommend it Rare to feel the real flavor and quality of the beef. Crème Brûlée is also wonderful, worth the visit and the combo.
Delicious as always. I cannot stress enough how tasty the chateaubriand is, it's a must try! The cocktails were fantastic, one of the best espresso martinis.
Food was 10/10 unbelievable. The only downside was the pints. I think the gas had been changed that day and the pints werent pouring right. The service was 10/10 the cocktails were 10/10 & the food too

Came on a Tuesday for a graduation dinner, the meal was spectacular. The best steak I have ever had. Service was brilliant, very friendly waiting staff. Cocktails were tasty and the desserts were lovely too. Its a pricey place, but it reflects in the quality of the food. Would 100% recommend.
March 2022 We'd a staff night out here recently. Everybody was very impressed with all aspects of the evening. You get what you pay for, and this was great value for what we got. Steaks are the speciality, but the fish options are wonderful too. Deserts are fantastic. The service was excellent, keeping our drinks, including water jugs, topped up and finding the right balance between attentive service and constantly interrupting. Parking: Restaurant is in Monkstown village so parking can be difficult to find at the wrong time of the day. Allow a few extra minutes for this and you'll be fine though.
