Story

Established in 2006 Go Modern has a showroom on the Kings Road and a highly accessible website with detailed images and descriptions of every design. We specialise in stylish, well made, high-end furniture, including made-to-measure wardrobes, dining tables, sofas, bedroom furniture, including children's bedroom furniture, wall units and furniture for the home office. We also have a wide range of outdoor furniture created by some of the world's leading experts in this area.

Mission

To source truly great furniture for people who share our passion for contemporary design. We want our clients to be able to fill their whole house (and garden too) with Go Modern furniture... or come to us to buy that one truly special piece.

We did 2 different orders, one for a bed and one for a fitted wardrobe, with the help of Cecilia who was wonderful to work with thanks to her eye for detail and ability to understand what we were looking for. The quality of the furniture is impeccable and worth the wait as the products are not immediately available. So if you are in a rush this is not your place but if you'd rather wait because you value good quality, this will be your place. The fitters hired, as it was a different company, were tidy, polite and careful when installing the furniture.
Absolutely thrilled with the service from Go Modern from start to finish. Communication was key especially living in Hull. I booked an appointment to purchase some Cattelan and Porada items and Juha already pre planned all the samples in preparation for our visit. Delivery guys were fantastic, knew the product from a assembly stand point. We have another room to fill which Juha is kindly designing. 5 stars to Go Modern
BIG NO! Don’t WASTE YOUR MONEY. Firstly I would like to say, for what it’s worth and what you’re spending with this company… Once they have your money the customer service goes out the window. . I tend to stay away from reviewing poor experiences cause negativity only attracts negativity but thanks to telephone call with Boyana I’ve decided to take time and let everyone know about my experience. The way “Boyana” just raised her voice on the phone in an aggressive manner is totally unacceptable. She refused to help sort an issue that we previously concluded was in a house problem. Her tone was repulsive & her attitude towards clients shows the lack of respect the company has towards their customers. Long story short the bed is past delivery date. DO NOT expect for your order to be on time. The infrastructure of go modern relies on an external supplier which means they can not update you on lead time or production time until they have the product. Go modern are simply a middle man. From purchase you will enter the dark and remain there with everyone else at the company until the supplier switches on the light. Save your self money and time and go elsewhere. I await my 3rd call back which is yet to be made. I’m a day out of 11 weeks since order and still no delivery date. I will refrain from making any assumptions of deliverables but what I will say is, what a waste of time.
I purchased a custom fitted-look wardrobe and the experience was excellent. GoModern staff were extremely professional and helpful in designing and helping me to find the right wardrobe for my needs and budget. They do not use any sales tactics, and instead focus on finding a solution that works for you. The installation was also efficient and expertly completed. Would highly recommend.
I am absolutely delighted with my Novamobili Wardrobe! After recently refurbishing my bedroom, I was in need of a wardrobe that could fill a long stretch of wall. The ceilings are relatively low, so trying to find a high quality product that could also be quite low was proving to be quite challenging. However, after coming across Go Modern I was amazed at the wide selection they had on offer. The team in the showroom couldn't have been more helpful. They were very attentive to what I needed and suggested the most suitable layout for the inside. I never felt pressured by the staff like I have in other companies which really gave me that extra boost of confidence that these were the right guys to deal with. I placed the order and after 8 weeks the wardrobe arrived. Their assembly team booked me in the following week and took great care when entering my property and assembled it to perfection - They are obviously very experienced with handling these brands. Honestly, the quality has far surpassed my expectations and was certainly worth the wait for a high end, Italian brand! I would certainly recommend Go Modern to my friends and family and will be in touch for future orders. Thank you.

I have bought a Molteni bed and bedside tables. Go Modern was really helpful and Juha had very good advises on choosing and matching the colours. Go Modern was really quick to respond with excellent customer service. I strongly recommend them.
