I started personal training with Grant in March with the intent to loose my lockdown weight. However, after I found out I was pregnant in April, my goals quickly changed to building core strength and improving mobility to help prepare myself for pregnancy and birth. Grant was very knowledgeable and quick to adapt my fitness plan to suit my needs throughout all three trimesters and I really appreciated how flexible he was to accommodate any last minute changes when my body simply couldn't handle it near the end. As others have said, Grant is a lot of fun to work with and very motivational. I was quite anxious about getting back into exercise after several years off but I never felt judged. I would definitely recommend training with Grant if you are looking to get into exercise. Baby boy is due in five weeks, and I am really looking forward to coming back to GMFit in the New Year when I am ready to exercise again! Thanks Grant!
Grants been helping me get in shape for my wedding and a big upcoming birthday. He's been truely excellent at pushing me further than I thought I could ever go. He's tailored our PT sessions specifically to deal with niggling injuries I've gained playing sport and made my life a lot better for it. Don't waste time thinking about it, just give him a call and do it. You won't regret it.
I started training with GMFit a few months ago after having my second child and thoroughly enjoy going to the group sessions, as well as the smaller Blitz classes. I have noticed huge improvements to my strength and fitness levels, and I love the combination of weight and cardio training. Grant ensures every session is different but equally challenging, and really pushes you to meet your goals in a very encouraging way. The classes are always filled with friendly people and are suitable for all fitness levels. I would absolutely recommend GMFit to anyone.
Really welcoming group sessions that are well adapted to any fitness level. You'll work hard but in a way that's right for you. Grant is really helpful with adaptions and coaching on form.
Grant is a very professional and dedicated trainer. He encourages us to work as hard as we can through the sessions, with an occasional joke thrown in … to check we are all still with him!
I’ve been training with Grant at GMFIT for a few years now and love the variety on offer. The runfit class on Saturday mornings is the best experience but I also enjoy circuits, PT and the small group Blitz sessions. Every class is filled with warm, friendly people who never judge but always encourage. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get fit and meet lots of new people.
I started sessions with GMFiT a few months ago and have already seen great improvements in my fitness levels. I have done a combination of BlitzFit and the larger group sessions. They are both brilliant with a friendly vibe. Tough sessions with a real focus on technique and adaptable to any fitness level. Couldn't recommend more.
Since joining GM FIT my fitness has improved month by month and I’m feeling so much stronger and healthier. GM FIT is far superior to any gym or instructor I trained with before. Grant has a welcoming personality and is a great instructor and motivator. He gets to know each client and will always encourage you to go that extra mile. During classes with small and larger groups, Grant is able to support each client to achieve their fitness levels and to avoid injury. When I suffer injuries Grant help and support me to strengthen that area and I was able to continue to exercise while I recover. Right from the start I was made welcome by everyone. Great facilities, training & atmosphere. During the classes Grant makes sure there is variation in every single session. The best thing is to never know what to expect in a session: Never a dull moment at GMFIT! Thank you Grant McCarthy
Since joining GMFiT I have seen huge improvements in my strength and fitness levels. The BlitzFit sessions are brilliant - friendly atmosphere, always challenging and I always feel better after going. Excellent coaching - supportive, big focus on technique. Highly recommend!
