I started off at GMC Performance on the 6 week program, I was apprehensive as I wasn’t the biggest fan of going to the gym and thought I would do the 6 weeks and that would motivate me to do some training on my own. But throughout the initial 6 weeks, I got to know the coaches and other gym members and really enjoyed the environment.nnJust over a year on and I am still training at GMC. The small group sessions and also the flexibility to select a time that suits, is a massive benefit. The coaches create a good environment to train and also check in regular to make sure everything is going ok with your training.nnI would highly recommend GMC Performance for anyone thinking of going to a gym.
I joined GMC in May 2021, since then I’ve grown so much in confidence, strength and my overall fitness. The coaches have been excellent providing guidance in sessions which has made me feel more comfortable and confident when performing strength movements etc. I love the concept of the small group classes and there’s always someone there to encourage you, which makes you push yourself to your best.nnThe GMC adventure club is also a great part of the gym, getting all of the members together for days out and you’re always sure to have a laugh!nnIt has been a brilliant experience for me overall, joining GMC was the best thing I could have done.
I’ve been a member with GMC for a couple of years now. These guys are great! I’ve been to so many different gyms and they never stuck but GMC did. G and his team is committed to their clients and making sure to help you in any way they can to help you meet your goals. They check in with you every week to help to stay on track for the next week, and help you work out any little issues you may have with dieting/injury etc. This team has a very strong education on both fitness and nutrition for all body types. They also have a great understanding of Mental Health and how to handle clients that have struggles/triggers. The semi private classes are fantastic and can be catered to fit your specific needs. The team get to know you on a friendship level and plan group activities outside of the gym too. It is great to be apart of this community because we all help keep each other motivated, and there is no judgment. These guys make working out fun and exciting in a safe friendly environment.
I really enjoyed the 6 week challenge experience with GMC. The coaches were excellent and always giving me practical advice and guidance when needed and they didn’t make me feel stupid when I had a question. The workouts are all different each day which I loved. Classes are deliberately small which is great too. I’d highly recommend the 6 week challenge programme for anyone on the fence and looking for a new gym! Lovely friendly atmosphere and great people!
I have nothing but great things to say about GMC Performance. From the minute you walk in the door, you are treated like family. There is never more than 6 people training at one time, so you have the coaches undivided attention at all times. The coaches are unreal. They know their stuff and are so supportive and friendly and fun! The gym is well equipped with every piece of equipment you can think off. The atmosphere is always fun and supportive and to top it all off, the coaches run an adventure club every month for the clients and their family. Great hikes, and other adventures along with a yearly weekend adventure away! For anyone on the fence about joining just do it because you won’t regret it!
