Did I just have the best hot chocolate at a train station cafe?! yes!nnSuch a cute coffee shop, almost makes you want to get the train here just for the cafe!
Great for public transport, great for shops, pubs and restaurants.
Well kept station with easy and close access to the town. Recommended trip out of Manchester.
Lovely, clean and when sunny bright station. Friendly coffee shop. Can be very cold in winter though since the waiting room is closed. The barriers are a bit of a pain but and this REALLY winds up my friends, since I have a Greater Manchester bus pass I get here very cheaply; for a surcharge of £10 a year I get UNLIMITED TRAVEL off peak in Greater Manchester on tram and train - Glossop bus pass holders CAN'T. Oh dear me!
The staff are efficient and friendly, they give advice on what is the most cost effective route to take. The trains are regularly running and not very often delayed.nThere is a coffee shop and easy disabled access.
