Lovely looking train station, 4 stars for the surroundings, but I'd like to say is why don't the train ticket workers deal with drunks, I know it's not really their job but when a woman is sat alone being called insults by a drunk nothing is done, just asked him to leave her alone so then he can move on to bothering the next woman waiting to go to work! Inappropriate behaviour! Should have some emergency button on the seats or something, can't even call anyone incase of aggressive behaviour!
Excellent little quaint station, two minute walk to the town center. Trains every half hourly in both directions
Did I just have the best hot chocolate at a train station cafe?! yes!nnSuch a cute coffee shop, almost makes you want to get the train here just for the cafe!
Town with good transport links and a number of independent retailers and some good pubs and eateries.
Well kept station with easy and close access to the town. Recommended trip out of Manchester.
