Story

Glickman's Confectionery, established in 1903, is the oldest sweetie shop in the heart of Glasgow where nostalgia nestles in every jar. We offer customers the opportunity to purchase confectionery at discounted prices whilst ensuring exceptional customer care to all our local customers and tourists.

Our free local delivery service offers communities, schools, playgroups and social clubs easy access to our wide range of confectionery. We provide a fast efficient service with quality fresh products including many special offers from our famous shop on London Road .

With old favourites such as Macaroon Cake, Candy Balls, Lucky Tatties, Soor Plooms and with endless jars filled with mouth-watering delights in every colour of the rainbow – Who could resist taking their taste buds on a trip down memory lane!

Glickman's has been shown on some television programmes such as "Best of Friends" and will even be shown in a new film coming out soon starring Ewan McGregor!

On the 1st November 2010, Jamie Oliver visited the shop to make some sweets and to film for his new tv programme which will also be shown soon!
