Been to several distilleries and Glenfiddich is up there with some of the best. Tour guide was very informative and elevated the experience. Could not do the whisky tastings as I was driving but they had a very thoughtful take away pack included which was nice.
This place is vast and worth a trip if you're a whisky lover. We did the pioneers tour which was well worth the money. The host was superb and we were well looked after. The souvenir whisky was amazing and the food and drink second to none
It was a dream come true !! I am a whiskey aficionado and this was like visiting Disneyland, the staff was courteous and accommodated a last minute change in our schedule due to travel delays, I was traveling with a child and Glenfiddich is one of the few distilleries in the speyside belt which allows toddlers to accompany on the distillery tour. The price was around 20 GBP and included tasting for 4 whiskies - 12, 15, 18 and a 23 yearly old.. worth every penny !!! I filled and bottled a personalized 15 year old from the cask and the experience awesome !! though the whiskey from cask was 60 percent proof which is not a smooth everyday drink, still just the overall experience of filling the bottle , labeling , stamping and adding an entry in the journal is unique and exciting. Had lunch in the cafe behind the distillery .. the salmon and the soup were great !!! and the bartenders had recommendation on pairing whiskey with the food , loved the warmth and welcoming nature of the place Overall I will go there again any time I get a chance and might explore few more distilleries in speyside this time
Very famous distillery. Wonderful tour and tasting package. Must visit if you are a whisky fan.
If you enjoy a dram of whisky Glenfiddich Distillary is the place for you. This distillery is open seven days a week and they offer tours with an entrance fee, but you can also walk on part of the grounds and enjoy food which was very tasty and hot within the restaurant. The drive to get here is enjoyable and parking is easy. We actually came to see Balvenie Distillery which is also owned by Glenfiddich, but they only take a very small number of people into the distillery and you must prebook months in advance for that opportunity. Glenfiddich Distillery is different and you can purchase tickets at the visitor center.
The tour was great, I recommend it. Tree stars because at the tasting one guy got to also taste the 26 years old and the rest of the tour were not allowed to. So I found that very rude from the tour lady.
I’ve always loved Glenfiddich so it was amazing to be able to visit the distillery. The tour was really informative and our host Brian was really informative and funny at the same time. Whisky tasty at the end was really good too. Highly recommend doing the tour if you come here!
My partner and I booked to go on the distillery tour which turned out to be amazing. Our tour guide was great, she was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the distillery and the owners, and she walked us through every step of the distilling process. After the tour the entire group had a tasting of 4 whiskys. If you are planning to visit and choose to drive don't panic, they give drivers a tasting box of the whiskys to takeaway. Surprisingly for us the gift shop made this entire experience extremely memorable, we had ducked in quickly to find a pin to collect and ended up chatting to the staff there for about 2 hours! Steven I think and the woman who's name I'm horrified not to have were both very welcoming and keen to chat about whiskys throughout the world! Would definitely visit again if just to go into the gift shop and say hi!
The excellent whisky tour with the Historic whisky legends in Scotland. Walk around the complete process start with Founder’s and family history until the tasting room. Was a great experience. Highly recommended if you want to know more about the whisky story.
Having visited several Speyside distilleries, this was hands down the best tour. Very informative, learnt things I hadn't known about the Whisky process until now and our guide, Anna, was excellent. Highly recommend this one!
