A well kept site situated between 2 mountains so glorious views. Toilet and shower block were clean. Two fields offered electric and you are free to pitch where you prefer, as long as 6m fire break is observed. Marked down because you cant park near your pitch so not useful if you need a 12v socket from your car to use an electric pump.
Love love this site. Kept really well, the showers were lovely, hot and clean.nAll the staff there are extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. We were going to stay 6 nights and booked an extra 3 because we didn't want to leave. So accessible to many places to see. Plenty of places to eat or have takeaways. Would recommend taking head nets if you want to be out during early evening because of the midges. But very much worth the effort to protect yourselves.nPlenty of walks from the site and also a designated dog walk with bins.
The area is amazing. There's a center that tells you all about the area this place is built upon. There are a lot of walks to go on near here, the campsite is in such a smart spot. Surrounded by trees and separated into different fields. The only problem I had with this place is that the ground was a little waterlogged but the campsite csnt just move out of the way of the rain right? So that doesn't affect the rating I have for this place. Me and my dad recently became a club member for this place and we got refunded the difference of the total price. It's worth the money.
We had 6 nights here early September 2024 and it was great. Site is really good location, and lots of walking, cycling to be done. Scenery is awesome and you need to go and see sunset at Loch Leven. Would also suggest the gondola ride up Aonach Mòr Mountain expensive but really worth it. We didn’t walk Ben Nevis but Glen Nevis is again a must. Stay for the evening and park near the river, otters and heron were our highlights. Glen Coe itself is beautiful and the views from site were everything you hope for in the Highlands.nPeople running the site were really helpful, facilities are fine, shower water was hot and site all very clean. The drying lockers are really helpful. Only one washing machine and dryer but they work well and usually price.nWe would definitely recommend this area and site. We came for some quiet, walking and rest and it was ideal. Dog also loved it and was very nearly brave enough to join me swimming in Glen Nevis.
Beautiful place with some nice people.nThey were very, very busy so probably would have been able to talk more, if not.nThere was not as much open space for the children to play as other places we have been, so needed to watch them more.
