For Christmas 2009 I was given the Seneca tweed bag. I loved it and use it almost every single day. It has a soft separator which is ideal for keeping books/magazines/laptops/tablets flat while the the loose stuff is on the other side. However, only 5 months into owning this bag, the buckles came off. Both times I didn't notice it until later, so lost the straps. The buckle construction itself is irritating since I'm in and out of the bag so often on the bus, getting the wallet out, the book out, etc, that buckling and unbuckling is a hassle. I contacted Glenalmond about the broken buckles. The nail studs that remained were often scratching my skin or catching my clothes. After no reply I tried again a few months later, tried calling, but never got any proper customer service. I gave up and took the bag to local leather-working shop. For £90 I got the buckle studs replaced with magnets which easily keep the bag closed on windy days. I'm much happier with this design. It's now been 5 years, and the tweed has become rubbed off at a certain corner, but that's just through pure wear and tear and love. So the product is mostly good, but the customer service was non-existent. They could do so much better so easily. Their website also needs more information and photographs given the cost of the purchases. For example showing what bags look like on the inside, with pockets and compartments.

Zufahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich. Der laden liegt etwas abseits er Hauptstraße und es dauert etwas bis man ihn sieht. Das Angebot ist ok. Die Verkäuferin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
