I was a first time buyer purchasing a new build property. Gledhills provided me and my partner with mortgage advice in February this year selecting a mortgage with a cheaper rate then we could find on any comparison site or directly to the lender. I work full time Monday to Friday and my partner works shift we found it nearly impossible sorting a mortgage directly with a lender due to the opening hours and fully booked weekend appointments. This process can be stressful when trying to sort everything else. Gledhills sorted everything they came to our house 45 minutes away from Northallerton out of hours to provide the service where we had the ease of doing the work in the comfort of our own home. The process couldn't have been simpler requesting the documents over email and telephone. All we had to do was sign the mortgage when the documents were sent from the lender. This process couldn't have been a easier or to a higher standard I'd use this company for every time I get a mortgage. I'd like to note I was sceptical how a mortgage broker could make money without charging higher rates but the offer gledhills got was about .4 percent cheaper then I could get direct. Even if you have found a mortgage it's worth 30 minutes of your time from your own home to see if this company can get you a better rate!.

Insisted that the amount that I had independently worked out that a lender would offer was wrong. After a few weeks I find out the number that I worked out 5 minutes was spot on, but only after a few hundred pounds in non-refundable fees. Avoid these amateurs at all costs!
