My husband & I went for breakfast and after waiting 25 minuets we were served up 1 breakfast with burnt beans ! and a pancake stack with 4 burnt pancakes they were black !!! I could not eat them However I did eat dried out cold bacon so threfore I was only asked to pay £3 for it !!! No one else was in cafe waiting for food and 2 take alway customers came in during our wait both served immediately and 2 customers left disgruntled so were given complimentary coffee then 2 custlers arrived shortly before breakfast was finally put on table. But were somehow served breakfast 1st !! Guess it was the pancakes burning them took longer!! Having been in catering for over 20 years I do not know how any self respecting cook could serve up such Appulingly bad food at a cost of £10 for Ehich we had to find a cashpoint as they only take cash !!! We will never go back and I would NOT recommend .

Great value tearoom with full breakfasts and a selection of pancakes. Like many businesses in Wigtown it's doubles as a bookstore. Just to note that this tearoom can only take cash.

What a brilliant little family run cafe in a beautiful part of the world. We went in for breakfast after staying at their sister hotel and it wasfirst rate. Very warm friendly staff welcome you in. The coffee was excellent, the best I've had in years. Breakfast was great, well sized portion (even after I excluded a couple of items) and the best part, some good gluten free options, something I didn't expect so was very happy! The quality of the food was brilliant and the price, a bargain, breakfast for two with coffee and juice, £10! I will go back in a heartbeat!
