Giorgio at Leadenhall

Extensive selection of traditional Italian dishes and very welcoming waiting staff; its greeting style and interiors reminded me of the 80’s, when restaurants really knew how to treat their customers. A bit too expensive though.

Found this little restaurant after going to war of the worlds experience. A lovely warm welcome and very bright. The food was amazing, especially the main I had hare ragu on tagliatelle, it was just a big bowl of loveliness. The whole meal was lovely and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have been here twice with a client for lunch and can highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Great food, great staff and the owner Georgio is a very funny guy. Book in advance as this place gets rammed at lunchtime with city workers.

Visited place over lunch and it was packed with people and great food. I actually went twice just because the rolled chicken in mozzarella was amazing. Prices are a bit on the higher side but it's worth going and trying something different. 2nd time, lamb was ordered and it was just as amazing

Went there a couple years ago, very good food and cool waiter from Italy. He recommended going to Italy for our next vacation... my wife and I didn’t get to go but my daughter had a school trip in and around southern Italy and Sicily. Grazie!

Great and Authentic food for a special day. We went for a colleagues 60th birthday, and everyone loved their food. My caramelized cream spinach with Salmon and Cod fish cakes was divine. The side of veg went down really well. Must give their home made bread a try too. Highly recommend this place.

We had a great meal and felt really welcome at Giorgio's. Warning: the crab meat spaghetti with chilli peppers is quite spicy indeed.

Totally unreconstructured, 1970s style Italian restaurant. Slightly intense basement location. Wonderfully attentive, charming service bit cloying if that's not your thing. Good food. City prices. Might be around forever!
