Best in town! This is an amazing place to do groceries. I drive from Redditch to shop for meatespecially chicken. This place has the best and most fresh meat. The staff is very polite and helpful as well. I would recommend Gill Meat and grocery to everyone who is looking for the finest grocery products.
First time to the shop was impressed by the acknowledgment from staff very friendly and welcoming. The shop is very clean and organised. Theres varieties of food products and general house hold products that are well presented. The meat counter is clean and organised prepared by staff ready for purchase. I recommend Gills Groceries for satisfaction and good quality.
Marinated chicken is rich in flavours and its very fresh. My children loved the taste of chicken alot

No sign of any hygiene anywhere. Meat in the display is not fresh, looks like it has been IN/OUT of freezer many times. Staff cutting, serving meat with bare hands while switching between different meats. Person who served me did not wear any gloves, touched 3 different types of meat right Infront of me before I got served and I had to ask him to either wash hands or wear gloves before he serve me. Meat i bought was not good quality, can tell fresh meat was mixed with old meat to hide low quality of meat. I am surprised how this shop is allowed to operate with such low standard of hygiene. Hopefully they can learn somthing from the feedback and make improvements. Definetly need a good meat shop in town. Response to reply - Not sure what day/ date you are reviewing the CCTV as i never provided the exact date i visited the Meat shop on the corner in Tallgate. I work hard for my money and like to buy good food with hard earned cash. I hate when businesses like yours take customer for granted and do anything to increase their profits, in this instance selling poor quality meat to make gains.
