Awful service - had the displeasure of speaking to Lynn on reception this morning. She has an innate way of making you feel like asking for a doctors appointment is a complete waste of hers and everyone else’s time. What makes it even better, is the long wait for the privilege and her derogatory tone. To round it off I have to phone back on Thursday - can’t wait…
Agree with other reviews - awful service. I was here for my appointment and needed to make an appointment with doctor for my 4 months old son. However, it is not as easy as you think - you have to phone up. The previous time when I wanted to make an appointment with another receptionist, she questioned me of the reason why, then gave her own opinion and I ended up not making an appointment with doctor.
Awful at their jobs. I was told my finger was ‘broken’ and I was left to wait 4 hours in A n E just to be told it wasn’t. I’ve had a mucus issue for 3 years and they gave me medication that made my situation only worse, when I returned they said there’s nothing they could do and told me to gargle with salt water, which didn’t work. My friend visited and her Doctor did a BUZFEED QUIZ to see if she needed antibiotics or not for tonsillitis. Another friend of mine was also misdiagnosed with ‘appendicitis or cancer’ and it was neither, just normal cramp pain. If there was a zero option, I would press that. Disappointing.
I am shocked by how difficult it is to not only make an appointment but also to actually get an appointment. I waited for over a hour on the phone just to be told there are no appointments. Excuses due to lack of staff have been made for over three years now. The service is terrible, the staff rude, making you feel like you are wasting their time and no one seems to care about the actual patient or helping out.
I received a message asking me to contact the surgery, it turned out that the doctors surgery does not answer to incoming calls from its own patients I'm worse off health wise than before I'd been contacted !
All the reviews on here are from couple years ago so I had to make an honest updated review, the service 4 years ago was honestly very good, With very good caring doctors and staff, but these last couple years the service is just terrible every time I call up I just cannot book an appointment they are always fully booked when I call at 9:00 am or 2PM no matter how urgent your problem is you just cannot book and appointment and sometimes they are even fully booked for like 4 days really leaving you helpless at hard times, and the phone handlers seem like they really don’t care much either, even the doctors it seems like taking paracetamol and resting is the cure for everything these days always going home empty handed with no solution to making you better, just recommend for everyone to look for a new GP!!!! They really need to fix up and! LITERALLY YOUR LAST 8 reviews are all 1 STAR BAD REVIEWS THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!
Just got off the phone from talking and being frustrated by the reception manager. Originally lied to about the policy of only getting a telephone call in first instance was told it was NHS leading, but turns out it's from the practice partners implementing this When I asked for a link to this policy in a email from the practice reception, I was told it was from the practice partners then, not from NHS and was told I could still get doctors appointments face to face from other surgeries and said I could move else where. I theb said that I wanted to put in a complaint about the conversation and attitude of the person on the phone whoever knew that pointing out sarcasm and attitude was seen as threatening and told that both calls I did today was recorded as a guarded reminder to further complaints to her direct manager. Doctors receptionists need to remember that they aren't medical professionals and need to stop hiding behind the power they think they hold. If you need the human touch, don't bother with this practice that hides behind lies to push out practice bot NHS policies.
Poor service, late appointments, late feed backs, some times you have to wait more than week. My daughter is having cough with green mucus, coughing more than 10 days, called them , GP told doctor will contact you soon, but no sign of phone call
Very disappointed with this service. The GP requests blood tests and no one lets you know what the results are. Whatever the results would be reassuring to hear from a GP. Another point, It is impossible to book an appointment with a GP! The only option on the form is to ask the receptionists a question! Are they medically trained? And if we dare to phone the practice, they are usually hostile and makes you feel guilty for phoning.
Really bad; receptionist makes you feel like a burden if you call needing to talk to someone. When you ask to speak to someone on the day on the telephone by the way, not even in person you get "sigh, is it urgent?". Makes you feel like sayong"no...I've only been up since 6am worrying and in a queue for 20mi for the fun of it".
