I have used Giftpearls for restringing and adapting, bought from their online service and most recently Geoff made me some ‘bespoke’ earrings. Each time I have used the company I have been impressed with their very personal and personable client relationship, they are SO helpful. I recommend that if you can’t see exactly what you are looking for on the website then do contact them, they will respond promptly and aim to please. It’s more than 5 stars actually!
I had a fabulous experience using GiftPearls - after a quick email exchange, I sent my necklace to them and received an email as soon as it had arrived with them. I quickly got a call after that to confirm the exact service I wanted, and a prompt quote for the work. The repair was completed quickly and I received the necklace back in beautiful condition less than a week after they had received it. I'm really pleased with the repair and will definitely use GiftPearls again if I need future repairs on my pearl jewellery.
Just received a three row restring of some rice pearls, including replacing the clasp. The handiwork is absolutely first class. Impossible to recommend highly enough.

Oh my goodness, this is the best place to restring/clean/buy pearls anywhere. I bought a long pearl necklace from an antiques store when I was on holiday and wanted it to be a little shorter. Because the necklace was so old I thought I just had to accept that the pearls hadn't been well looked after and they would always look a little bumpy, discoloured and scraggly. But then Geoff worked his magic and they are the most gorgeous pearls I now own, very impressive cleaning! He converted the long necklace into a shorter necklace, bracelet and drop earrings. I could be more thrilled with the final product or the customer service! He even added an extra pearl for free because he had a matching one in his stash. I will definitely be shopping here again! I called Gift Pearls as I was looking to have a necklace cleaned and restrung, and Geoff was very friendly and helpful. The service was quick and great value for money. Geoff kindly let me know that he thought they only needed cleaning, and gave me the option to just have them cleaned before the work was carried out. I would highly recommend - my pearls look beautiful! Thank you very much.
