What an absolute beautiful spot this little rustic bar and restaurant is! A perfect place after conquering the Giants Causeway! The hostess is amazing! Speaking to us like we’re life long regulars and making you feel welcomed and appreciated! The food was gorgeous, portions were huge and the bill was tiny! And with a gorgeous open fire I will happily visit this place again
Really nice place, food is very good, however it is very busy day. Had fish and chips there and before going for a hike and was worth to be honest as bust my energy, Guinness was also great and I had a good time there. It is a bit pricy there, just to let you know.
We’ve been all across Ireland and this place has by far the best white chocolate raspberry scone we have ever tasted!!! We ordered fish and chips and a rump steak sandwich. All was mouth watering delicious and scrumptious. The staff and owner were extremely nice and helpful. And let’s not overstate the view ! Awesome place!
I came here as part of a tour bus group and decided to eat before going on the hike to the Giant's Causeway. You have to grab a table, note down the number on the table, go up and order at the register, and tell them your table number. They bring you the food. The menu was varied, the food was delicious and filling, and the hike was a perfect way to walk it off, before taking a nice nap on the bus back lol. One of the windows has a nice view of a field of cows. It used to be a little school house.
Looks cute from outside. The inside is also well made with nice toilets. Tables are always dirty. We ordered fries and what we got was fries floating in frying oil. See the pic. It was horrid. Thats why i knocked off four stars.
Great place to grab a bite after hiking the Giant’s Causeway. We had steak and Guinness pie and fish pie. Both were very tasty.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu falls short for anyone with dietary requirements. There is no vegan option at all but they did offer to make chips and salad leaves without the dressing which is nice but underwhelming if you're hungry. It's located right beside the giants causeway and the prices reflect that. The coffee is very good quality but again they don't offer any non-dairy milks. There is wheelchair access around the side entrance but you cannot access all areas of the pub in a wheelchair. It can get very busy. The building itself is very attractive and atmospheric. Overall very nice and handy location but would be good to see a menu that would cater to everyones needs. Wheelchair accessibility: Car park on one side and wheelchair entrance is behind a locked gate on the other side of the building. Internal stairs in some areas. Carpark is cobble stoned and flat with a slight incline. Dietary restrictions: No vegan options. No non-dairy milks. Some vegetarian dishes. Menu states that they do not guarantee cross contamination of allergens.
The location is very good. The view is beautiful. I also liked the wooden furniture and friendly atmosphere. Staff members were nice. The fish & chips was very good. I wasn't impressed with the sandwiches. The taste was very simple. There was a deal for soup and sandwich. Soup was okay. I think would be also good if there would be a bigger selection of food on the menu. Hence the location, I was expecting way more sea food on the menu. I would not recommend the sandwich. But I highly recommend the fish & chips and the soup.
Rustic pub with delicious food and beer on top. A great place to eat and grab a drink after the long walk up and down from the Causeway.
Delicious food and cozy ambiance makes the Nook a great spot to rest your weary bones after a breathtaking yet tiring walk to the Giant's Causeway.Food: 5/5
