Food in the restaurant was very ordinary. Baked salmon was matched with Mediterranean vegetables and salsa. Vegetables were soaked in salsa? Prices were OK, but a new menu or chef is needed. Go to the bar instead. Good pub food and drinks.

Very elegant, but the food was good and reasonable price. Left our car there and walked down to the causeway. Went back to the bar and had an Irish coffee in the bar

Excellent quality food and at a reasonable price. The staff were excellent too, plenty of good rumoured banter and extremely alternative without being over bearing. We had a terrific lunch and then took a walk down to the stones, for free, to work it off.

Rooms spotless, very comfortable, lovely location. Staff efficient enough but could definitely benefit from professional training in all aspects of customer service. Breakfast acceptable but staff lacking in basic skills. For example, no cereal bowls, had to ask, no milk for cereal, had to ask, no toast served even though it was at other tables, had to ask, slight issue with a very loud boiler/fan noise at 4am in the morning, mentioned this at reception, responded with I don't know very much about hotel and no knowledge of possible cause of disturbance. So all in all a mixed stay. Good hotel,location, rooms and food. But, as stated previously, quite a few issues that I think could be dealt with easily with the correct staff improvement training.

Comfortable and friendly in a nice location. Food average. Wine dreadful - watery, no body and expensive for the poor quality. We tried a bottle of Merlot and a bottle of Shiraz. Both were very poor. Stick to the Irish coffee which is everything the wine should have been - full bodied and very moreish!!!
Would stay again but have water only with our dinner.
