Nice, rather old-fashioned (and that's not a criticism) hotel. Clean, spacious rooms (we were in a sea-view room) with the expected facilities. Food was lovely. Hearty breakfast and great scampi for dinner. Note this is a small place, so there are no spa facilities. Some of the more expensive rooms have whirlpool baths, which are fun.

My wife & I took my mother here for lunch. We phoned ahead to reserve a window table as the view is lovely out across the shore to the sea. Staff were very friendly and the lunch was good. So recommended.

We stayed here for one night in October in a family room. Great sized room, very modern, clean hotel, with great customer service from the staff. While the place was busy our room was very quiet and we had nothing disturbing us all night. Restaurant and bar was very nice, cosy with a large fire, and again while busy enough with two birthday parties, we didn't have to wait too long for our food. The burger is recommended! Only negative was the kids' pizza - this was clearly a frozen pizza. While they enjoyed it (and that's all that mattered) we were left thinking, how hard can it be to make a margarita pizza, just a base, some sauce, and cheese on top! Anyway the kids meal came with a fruit juice and chips so they were happy. Beds are a little too soft for my taste so not a great sleep, and the shower head was positioned so low it came to my chest - not sure if this is only in the family room. Beautiful location, very close to all the local sites (recommend Dun Luce castle nearby), and I would definitely stay here again.
