A wonderful takeaway/restaurant that serves quality food and drink to its customers for a good price! The service was fast today, and the welcome warm, my food was ready within a minute and i was on my jolly way! I highly recommend taking a pit stop in this traditional fish and chip shop!
Social distancing nightmare due to dodgy confusing queuing system. Servers not wearing masks correctly and no gloves or use of sanitizer. Masks not enforced in a very small shop. Cold chips and curry sauce?!? NOT impressed

Amazing fish and chips and the tartar sauce was delicious. Served in an attractive box by really friendly staff, all cooked to order and to perfection. Really impressed by this place.
I'm happy every time I get food from here, best fish and chips in Derby. Homemade fish cakes are amazing as well.
No ability to pre book a table, not a problem at lunch time, but busy late afternoon. Food was excellent, however main meal came out minutes after starters!! service was slow at times, but staff pleasant. Had to ask a few times for the bill, & for coffee's. But would go again.

Staff gave a warm welcome when I went in, food really good and reasonably priced
George's are always good if you like F&C. Worth travelling to one, quality is high.
