Absolutely miserable staff. Won't put a fish in 40 minutes before closing time, asked for mixed donner kebab and just get meat thrown in a box, no salad, no pitta nothing. I'll be going around the corner next time.Food: 3/5

Was busy but worth the wait. Very decent portions. Food was also fresh. Helped that the place was busy because then they’re constantly having to cook to order rather than cook and wait for customers. Very good price and accepts cards.Food: 5/5

My "go to chippy" Britannia Fishbar is a no frills no nonsense chippy, i always enjoy a nice fish & this time was no exception. Good food Polite & friendly staff. Generous portions. Not overpriced. Whats not to like??
Absolutely love this chip shop for a treat. Tikka chicken and chips is a banging combination with loads of flavour. Very good portions and well priced. However you may incur a cue while waiting but worth it when your eating. Staff are efficient at getting your order sorted.
We live by the sea, but visit relations in Mackworth and these are the BEST fish and chips ever! Great value and delicious fish.Food: 5/5
Unfortunately they close way too early. Not great if your finishing work and want fish and chips. They start putting their shutters down 30 mins before closing. You will be lucky to get a battered fish after 7:40. They are very eager to close.
