A really warm, welcoming bar. The best peach blinis I've had in this country!! My boys have said there is is a good selection of beers also. Would definitely recommend if passing through
Was booked into the vaults room at 1pm, arrived early and was escorted to the nice, warm, relaxing marquee and had a nice glass of wine before our scheduled afternoon tea. Excellent service and plentiful food.
Loved everything in here. The food was delicious. I had duck breast and apple and summer fruit crumble. The atmosphere is lovely, the music is very moving and you want to dance all the time
We visited for a Christmas get together for work and the staff were amazing, the food was scrumptious and the the decorations were next level. Would definitely visit again if I was in the area.
Great place to eat drink and be sociable. Delighted to see they offer breakfast menus, very good value too. , bit difficult for wheelchair access at main entrance and to get to garden would need to access down side of building, on checking with staff happy to open side gate to allow access. Garden is airy and spacious very pleasant to relax. Staff polite and attentive.
Went in after having seen this place a few times and wanted to finally try something a bit fancy, however, I found that with the exception of one lady who I’m assuming to be a floor manager and another gent who’s shift started later on, all the staff where either rude, dismissive or just plain right ignoring us and forgetting simple things like cutlery with food or even delivering a glass of water in a reasonable time. After some honestly fantastic starters we ended up waiting an hour for mains that would in theory have been great but had arrived stone cold. In the end we spent 2 1/2 hours there and walked away with only comped drinks and a need to grab dinner elsewhere.
Absolutely disgusted how me and my friends have been treated by staff on my birthday Saturday evening . We had spent lots money there . Bouncer came over with bad attitude with his fingers on us told off for standing up when live music was on and grabbed one of my friends with bad attitude. Table next to us were very nice mature people were kicked out for standing up dancing . Don’t bother go there as you won’t be able enjoy yourself at all . Is the worst venue I ever been !
We sat outside, it was a birthday event for one of my friends, very attentive waitresses and waiters. Quite busy as it was a Saturday night. Great vibes great music. Have been before and will go again. Loved it
Lovely garden area , such a nice place to just have a nice drink and chill. Cocktails were amazing and would deffo recommend. One of the bartenders was so helpful as I couldn't decide what drink to have and her recommendation was spot on.
So disappointed. Was attended a private party in the downstairs room of the venue. The bar staff were fantastic and the venue itself was great. However. The party was paid until 1am and the dj stopped early at around 12:50am. Then 3 different bouncers made their way in to the room and horribly aggressively began to clear the room. The hosts had brought their own decorations - glass candles, photo boards and we were aggressively told to “get out” by the bouncers even though we were just collecting up the candle holders and accessories. One of the bouncers, after being incredibly aggressive to party guests asking them to leave immediately, also proceeded to decide that another member of the party had offended him and practically assaulted him out of the fire escape when he was already leaving. In addition to this I was shoved to the wall by another bouncer on the stairs as he excitedly, with a smile on his face wanted to “find the trouble.” I do not write this review lightly and we had been warned about the level of aggression from the security staff before we booked this party but as we have been to the venue before and we were a private party - we thought this wouldn’t be a problem. We were a family party with NO issues whatsoever until the security staff came in to the private room at 12:55 am to clear us out, giving us no time to bring the decorations that we had been given permission to use. It was actually quite scary not only to see the level of aggression shown by the security staff but also the joy in which they laughed with one another, wanting to “kick him out.” After spending a LOT of money and being a quiet, family party with no trouble whatsoever, the way we were asked to leave was disgraceful and if I’m honest quite scary.
