When one thinks of a firm of solicitors , the mind conjures up an image of a dimly lit office with rows of dusty books with LAW written on them and an equally dusty solicitor peering at you over a pair of glasses while seated at an enormous desk . This is of course a Dickensian view,  but one that nevertheless is the one that springs to mind first . Needing a firm such as these usually means you are in some sort of  "trouble" and is fairly daunting prospect for anyone. I needed help and fortunately I ended up in the offices of George Ide where my preconceived ideas vanished within the first minute.
From the outset it felt   to me that my case was the absolutely most important one they had ever taken on and that everything I needed or requested was dealt with swiftly and sympathetically . Having had a serious industrial injury I was not in the best frame of mind and every step was explained  , however daft I felt the question was , in a way that just made me feel better and the feeling that through all the awful goings on that I was not alone . 
George Ide is an outstanding firm of  people who recognise real problems and real situations with real people and you know what ?  There aren't any dusty books or strange dim offices , just a friendly reception and a willingness to help in anyway they can .

Paul Fretwell, the personal injury claims lawyer from George Ide, represented me when I sustained a brain injury in an accident. I was extremely nervous about the process but he was excellent and set my mind at rest. He genuinely cares about his clients and their problems and pulls out all the stops to help. He successfully won my compensation claim for me. I would highly recommend Paul and this firm.
