A centuries old pub with charm and warmth. Always full of locals, but as a sporadic visitor I am repeatedly welcomed. The torch was passed to new owners around Dec 2023 and as of 11 month later I am happy to see it thriving. On the 3rd Wednesday of every month they have some live music and anyone is welcomed to get in on it, great vibe.
A real traditional proper ole fashioned boozer. Great pub grub at a reasonable price.
Stumbled upon George & Dragon last night, drawn in by the sound of live music. The atmosphere was amazing - lively and welcoming. We enjoyed our drinks while soaking in the great vibes. Perfect spot for a spontaneous night out with good tunes and a buzzing crowd.
The oldest pub in Ilfracombe 1360 not to far from the harbour great food, & beers low ceiling with string lights on all three beams very homeley, music in the background at at reasonable level motown,at the time we went in,& you can book a table, food up to 9ish
A really lovely pub. I've been here twice now, on two different visits to Ilfracombe. The first was a Saturday night. There was live music and the atmosphere was great. I recently returned on a Sunday evening and had a huge, tasty roast dinner. The staff were super friendly both times.
