Terrific traditional pub, we visited on two occasions the Monday and Wednesday lunchtime. Really friendly owners & staff. I had two pints of draught ale Atlantic pale ale which was one of the nicest pints I've had in a very long time. The food we ordered was delicious too and very reasonably priced. It's dog friendly as well so why not try it?
On our arrival to Ilfracombe we stumbled across this pub, its one of the oldest pubs in Ilfracombe. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food was really good and dog friendly. Visited a couple of times whilst we were there. Really worth visit if you are going to Ilfracombe.
On our arrival to Ilfracombe we stumbled across this great pub before checking in yo our holiday home. Staff were so welcoming & friendly and made our Dog feel like a King! Fresh water & treats offered instantly. The lovely fires were roaring away. Food was lovely and great value for money, The ladies spent time chatting with us sharing the history of the paranormal activity. Such a lovely pub with a great atmosphere.

A centuries old pub with charm and warmth. Always full of locals, but as a sporadic visitor I am repeatedly welcomed. The torch was passed to new owners around Dec 2023 and as of 11 month later I am happy to see it thriving. On the 3rd Wednesday of every month they have some live music and anyone is welcomed to get in on it, great vibe.
