Terrible customer service - 70% of the staff are miserable
Was made to feel uncomfortable by a blonde member of staff with a foreign accent. I Watched my husband playing and she rudely asked me to wear my mask even though hers was not on properly and even though she was the dealer on a other table. She then kept turning around and snarling me and made me feel very uneasy. I thought she might have been looking at somebody behind me but I checked and nothing was going on behind me so she was staring at me. I just wanted my husbands game to be over so I could get away from her. Other than that everything else was perfect.
I like coming here, staff are really nice and welcoming. Only issue for me is the poker table. Only ever one seems to be open and a fair queue waiting to get a seat. So last couple of times I've held on for half an hour but left have not had a play at anything or certainly what I want to play.
Nice to see that the Casinos are back open thier Southport Casino closed permanently during Covid . Visited around 9pm on a Sunday, so the place was quite quiet, but it was still good.
Very calm n relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service and very very helpful and friendly staff. For my first time I really enjoyed it. I'd recomend that you set a limit to spend n enjoy a drink or meal in the bar upstairs. Take I. D just incase you win over £1400
Very clean,helpful, friendly staff.But one big disappointment ,after waiting for the tables to open we were told the minimum bet would be £5 which is a big jump from £2 minimum of our last visit.
Decent casino. Friendly staff. Would be better if a waiter could come to the table and ask if anyone wants a drink so you don't have to physically leave the table - works for both parties: you get a drink with no effort, casino doesn't miss out on you gambling less when you walk away from the table. Win-win!
A run-of-the-mill chain casino that is a fairly casual experience if your game is blackjack, roulette or the slot machines. For anything else its quite limited. I tend to go in once a month on a weekday evening with friends after work, and its always quiet. Not sure what its like at the weekends. The bar food is decent though, meaning its a good spot to have a drink even if you're not gaming. I would recommend, but its nothing special.
On Sunday, April 15, I was in Genting Casinos in Liverpool Queen Square, Whitechapel. I was playing roulette with some friends. We were always betting on the color red. We won the first two bets we made and then we lost the next two bets, until then everything was fine. At approximately 1:30 am my friend and I made a new bet, each betting £ 5 on the red color at roulette. Being a day of a lot of customers, we could not be right next to the table, but being a place with surveillance cameras, we trust that the play would be fair. This time the red color was the winning bet and I proceeded to collect the reward of my bet immediately. It was an unpleasant surprise for me, when it came right next to the table and there was no chip, not only no were the chips of our reward £ 5 of each, but there was no chip on the red bet. Immediately I communicated my complaint to the worker at the table Alberto. I called another worker who told me they were going to check the surveillance cameras. At that time we were calm, because we trusted this company. After this, the people in charge of the surveillance cameras told us that we had lost that money. From the first moment his way of speaking to us was not friendly. They showed us a recording that did not correspond to the plays in which we had made the bet. At that time, I did not feel that they were looking for a solution, they just wanted to tell us that we were wrong. We felt treated with contempt. Maybe since none of us is English and we do not know how to express ourselves with precision in English, they did not want to give us explanations. No staff member cared for us at any time. No staff member was sympathetic, we felt treated with contempt. We are not blind or stupid. We had put two chips of £ 5 on the red color and they only showed us a recording where none of us bet, but we put the chips in the net on that play and we never recovered them. From the beginning, we had thought it was a mistake, that some player was wrong and picked up our chips, but showing us those images we were treated as stupid. We know that sometimes we can win and sometimes we can lose, we play accepting that. But this time, the important thing was not the money, the important thing was not to win or lose, the most important thing was that our chips were stolen in our face and also the workers of the company Genting Casinos despised us for reporting to them this complaint.
